The Sole-Source Lot Control module provides a method of determining the origin of any material involved in your manufacturing process and the functionality needed in meeting FDA compliance. You can trace material forward - from raw material supplied by a vendor through the manufacturing process and out to a customer. Or, you can trace backwards from any point in the chain to the original raw material.

Sole-Source Lot Control Features

The Sole-Source Lot Control module provides on-line analysis, reporting, and lot control from as-sold finished product through and including original raw material purchase lots, purchase order, and vendor information. It maintains detailed transaction records automatically and provides identification of fully nested, multi-level, lot-traced components and where-used/where-sold. This module can fully peg complete lot trace history to each line on each sales order, to each customer purchase order, to each job order and to each vendor shipment. It is integrated with other CMS modules.

CMS was designed to maintain both costs and quantities at the lot level for all inventory items, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and completed product. As a result, lot explosions and implosions from any level can be performed in a matter of seconds. There is no building of a lot trace from detail records, an approach taken by other systems that consume too much time and computer resource.
